Albert Lake Water Harvesting Project

Contek was engaged by Parks Victoria to harvest water from Cowderoy Street Main Drain onto Albert Park Lake. It involved construction of a 10m deep Gross Pollutant Trap which was the largest in Australia at the time, as well as a underground storage tank including balancing pit, designed and constructed by Contek. The project has successfully maintained the lake levels beyond expectation since commissioning.
