Mordialloc Sheet Piles

Contek was tasked by Parks Victoria to reconstruct the dilapidated sheet pile wall along both sides of the mouth of the Mordialloc Creek to ensure that the creek entrance remains safe and stable for both boats and pedestrians. Working in a dynamic marine environment presented many safety, environmental and quality challenges to Contek. Works had to be carefully planned around tidal movements as well as the weather, with water inundation of the site a regular occurrence.
Contek liaised with the local community continuously to ensure that the impacts of construction are minimized for the duration of the project.
