Cape Schanck Boardwalk

Contek Constructions was engaged by Parks Victoria to replace 160m of stairs and boardwalk in the delicate Mornington Peninsula National Park.

Contek practiced a very high level of caution and care in order to preserve the nature of this environmentally sensitive location.

The steep nature of the work area required Contek to develop new methods to access the work face, in order to preserve the integrity of the finished product without compromising on safety. 

Main Scope:

• Demolish and remove the existing boardwalk and stairs
• Construct new boardwalk and stairs
• Minimise effects to environment from work activities
