Glen Eira College

Contek was engaged by Civil Design Solutions and Glen Eira College to upgrade the existing oval at Glen Eira College. The new oval became a multi-sports facility with futsal, football, softball and a athletics track.
Colourful synthetic turf with sports field linemarking and athletics were laid upon a finely graded crushed rock pavement, with concrete kerb and channel conveying runoff to new stormwater infrastructure. The oval is also backed with two volleyball courts, four-square courts and outdoor table tennis near the oval.
A new terraced area was constructed with designer blocks and capping,  together with synthetic turf infills. A DDA compliant concrete ramp was installed to facilitate access along side with new trees, sports fencing and minor landscape improvements.
