Serpells Road Shared Path – Stage 2
Contek was engaged by Manningham City Council to construct the second stage of a shared path along "the Golden Mile" in Serpells Road, Templestowe.
The shared path itself, 425m of 2.5m wide of reinforced concrete, involved the placement of bollards, tactiles, recycled plastic signage totems and was linemarked. The project also saw Contek install a drainage upgrade, extra car parking areas, bus stop and kerb and channel placement. Landscaping works included irrigation installation and modification, and the laying of ~400m² of instant turf.
Contek's renowned community liaison skills were on show, communicating with local residents who were hesitant about any changes to their leafy street. We are proud to have completed this job within allocated timeframe and budget, leaving behind happy residents and a satisfied client.
