The Range Wetland

Contek was selected by Frasers Property to construct a large landscaped open drain at one of their premier developments in Croydon. One of the last stages of the development, the new water course was to complement a large wetland already present on site.
This project saw Contek carry out the construction of complex pits and drainage upgrades, in addition to modifying existing infrastructure on site. Bulk earthworks were then carried out, shaping the new drain.
Topsoil was then imported and placed in the wetlands before jute matting was laid and extensive planting carried out. This project was completed with the construction of maintenance access track and vehicle gate.
