Don Road Netball Courts

Contek was tasked by Yarra Ranges Shire Council to re-construct the existing netball courts at Don Road Recreational Reserve while keeping the existing fencing and drainage system intact. Built in an extremely wet area, the exsiting courts were in very poor condition. A new asphalt pavement was installed comprising of an insitu stabilised subgrade, new crushed rock layer and a pyrite free asphalt surface. This was complemented with a 4 coat acrylic surface which included a stain block to further protect against pyrite staining
